Workshop Accepted at RSS 2026 in Sydney!
Our workshop, “Mapping the Reef: Underwater 3D Reconstruction for Coral Ecosystems,” has been officially accepted for #RSS2026 in Sydney! 🇦🇺
🪸 Coral reefs are some of the most biodiverse ecosystems on Earth, but monitoring them at scale remains a significant challenge for robotics. As climate change continues to impact our oceans, the need for scalable, repeatable, and automated reef monitoring has never been more urgent. We’ll be exploring the latest in underwater SLAM, 3D reconstruction, and field robotics to help bridge the gap between robotics and reef science.
📢 The Call for Papers is now open for the workshop!
🗓️ Deadline: June 15th 2026
Thanks to our organising committee: Alejandro Fontan Villacampa, Emilio Olivastri, Malika Meghjani, Mohit Singh, Jonathan Sauder, Beverley Gorry, Lukas Schmid, Gokul B. Nair, Johan Barthelemy, Donald Dansereau, Stefan Williams and Michael Milford.
